What is TRUE control? What is TRUE power? Look at yourself... Look at your abilities, your convictions, your ambitions, your ideals, your goals... Do you have FULL control or FULL power over these things? Try looking at something less demanding... Look around you, look at nature. Look at the sky. Can you stop it from changing color? Can you stop the wind from blowing? Or the waves from crashing on the sea shore? Can you stop the sun from burning? Or the seasons from changing? Can you stop an earthquake from destroying? Or a tornado or a hurricane from devastating? Can you stop yourself from aging? Or decide to one day stop breathing and still live? Or from getting hungry? From needing sleep? Or even from stretching? If you have ALL these things under your CONTROL and POWER, then surely you also have the ability to control the course of your life. But being that you don't, then you might as well stop trying to. You want to know TRUE control? TRUE power? Then you have to know the one who created and CONTROLS it all... You have to know God. And to know God, you have to know Jesus. And to know Jesus, I'm not going anywhere, so ask away. If you already do, then I hope that was nourishment for your soul.

Hello peoples! (: Well, a lot of people have problems remembering, memorizing, repeating, and/or writing my name so I've decided to educate you, lol. First off, "Obed" is in fact a biblical name. Boaz and Ruth's son had this name. He was also the grandfather of good ol' David (gasp!). Yes, the one that pwned Goliath-zilla with the little rock. Anywho, I guess the name's cool... although I used to not really think so... especially since people were all like, "huh? Bed? Where??" so, my name became something to say after a long, hard day of school or work , lol. In the end I've grown quite fond of it since I don't think I can name myself anything else now... it's been after all 23 years with it, lolol. And it has its benefits like Obie, Obi-wan-Kenobi (and all the ones that come with it), Obie Trice, Obizzle (jk, lol). But most importantly, the meaning of it... Lately I've been using "S. O. G." quite often because, lucky me, "Obed" stands for "Servant of God." So I've been branded from birth as a child of the One whom I will serve all of the days of my life. So now, after realizing the coolness of my name's meaning, all I can say is... "DON'T YOU WISH YOUR GIRLFRIEND WAS HOT LIKE ME??!?" BAHAHAHA!!! I kid I kid. Allright.
