I didn't like the sound 2. It was overly simple 3. I really didn't like the lyrics either 4. I saw the music video later... I found it disgusting 5. The vocalist still bothers me 6. Basically all the reasons I've been saying all along about why I do not like Greenday

overly simple....wow, im amazed. i can tell you that the drums are pretty dificult. i know nothing about guitars, i cant tell an A from a D. but if you have it a little bit out of tune, the whole song sounds bad. trust me, ive played this with my friend who had an out of tune guitar and it sounded bad

it's not that hard to keep a song in tune.... if you based a song as good based on whether it's in tune or not, there would be a heck of a lot of good songs out there I can understand that the drums might be pretty difficult... but difficulty does not mean that it's not simple.... there is nothing about this song that stands out to me at all... not the drums, not the guitar, not anything I understand that you like them... that's ok... I don't, and honestly, their songs are overly simple and that's one of the reasons I dont like them... they write catchy songs, they do... I don't like catchy songs... because half of the time catchy=simple and often-times, so does popular music

well i will respect that. but stuff like rapcore and other metals have too much for me. i can take all of the guitars and riffs that sound all the same and crazy bass drums and other crap like screaming

eh... rap=evil.... rap has even less skill than greenday ;-) in all styles of music, there's going to be stuff that sounds the same as everything else.... including metal and heavy metal.... personally, I like the bands that do something different and add in complex things that dont always sound the same.... i.e: double bass (I enjoy the speed of it), keyboards, good guitar leads.... I can understand that you dont like screaming... lotza people dont... but to me, it's the same as singing... sometimes i like singing even less than screaming lol

i hate rap too. but i was talking about rapcore. like limp bizkit and slipknot and dumb bands like that. and do not get me started on the "no skill" thing again as someone did in the green day haters forum

I don't care if they stay punk... I still wont like them... but I'd respect them more if they actually did something that could be considered different for a change, maybe not having the same exact sound throughout an entire album... it seems like they found something that people liked and stuck with it, not something I really respect all that much wouldnt consider slipknot "rapcore".... it's sorta nu-metal, which is different... I dont really consider them to have a great amount of skill

no slipknot doesnt!!!! 9 dudes in a band and they still suck. umm, and about beats......there are only a certain amount you can have so thats why some stuff sounds the same. and have you not heard some stuff on american idiot cd like jesus of suburbia and give me novacaine. and i know you had to have heard bouldevard of broken dreams. green day brought the china and crash-ride sounds into punk and now people like fall out boy and panic at the disco are trying to have those sounds
