Any other history channel nuts here? I love it. I would have no problem using a TV that couldn't change channels, as long as it was stuck on History! Declassified was my favorite. The whole show was based on documents the government has to release after 25 years. So there was one on Castro, and how we tried to kill him (a FEW times), there was one about John Lennon (and how they followed him around for months before they figured out which house was his :)... But I'll watch just about anything on History, except when they beat it to death, like I've seen them have nothing but Hitler for like a week... Or there are a few shows that don't hold my interest.. I just don't care about the history of licorice.. But in general, it is the best channel on basic cable.

[color=#000080]I like the topics that they choose, but when it comes to biblical and church history, they typically interview only the weirdest people to put together stuff that's mostly inaccurate. They don't interview credible biblical and church historians. The fact that the bungle so much of biblical and church history leads me to question how well they've done the other stuff I don't know as much about. Watch it with caution. Cool graphics does not necessarily mean they're telling the truth, or at least the whole story.[/color]

It's interesting that the Haunted History programs give a part of history that you just don't get from the history books. Okay, I'm weird and I wear tiedye! I'm a child (victim) of the sixties and I love the history channel!

The History Channel is awesome! I watch it off and on and I don't neccessarily have a favorite show on there...
