HELP!!! I NEED SHOE BOXES IF YOU ARE A LOCAL FACEBOOKER. "There's an old saying, "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you've fed him for a lifetime." We are accepting shoe boxes to pack meal care packages for those who are going through some tough times. This is an opportunity to connect and help them get a new beginning. I am accepting volunteers to decorate boxes, pack the meals, peanut butter and jelly. I am currently receiving help with the bread and produces. This is also an opportunity for anyone to participate in my "Time, Talent and Treasure" part of the ministry. This is where you are able to participate in where you feel led to help someone in need. Im watching "Roots" on BET with my son today; third generation of sharing this awesome movie by Alex Haley with my three sons. I hope that all generations from every background watch this movie because it is apparent that although there has been a black President elected into office for two terms, we still have alot of work to do regarding racism. Let's hope and pray that there is a devine intervention on racism in politics; otherwise, us common people will have to suffer in "2013" due to ignorance.

Just like many of us, I had some challenges earlier today to face? But after I gave it to the Lord, His peace has changed the course of my day. Now I'm crafting in my garage. Just want to share the scripture that inspires me.
