We had a nice 4th. Made my Mom's "Hillbilly Hotdogs", some brownies for dessert. I ended up listening to "mere Christianity" on Audible. I hope yours was safe and enjoyable.

Does anyo e else practice any of the traditional spiritual disciplines? I fast once in a while, not as much as I used to due to diabetes. I practice solitude and scripture meditation. What activities do ytou do to strengthen your spiritual man? Man is meant inclusive here. LOL That means you too ladies.

What is every bodys plans for the weekend? My wife is going on a trip back to Cleveland for hert Aunt Barbi Sargents celebration of life. I plan to spend the weekend with my hunting game.

Anyone else working on any novels? I am working on one greaed toward Goth kids. It is a post-apocalyptic novel about a world that no longer has God's Word. It gets a bit dark, and raw until the MC finds a Bible and it starts to change their community. I have to spend significant time in prayer before and after writing and take breaks to bathe in God's Word. I am working hard for it NOT to be titilating, but show the despair and evil Man can succumb too.
